A computer the size of a grain was shown at the IBM Think 2018 conference in Las Vegas. The minicomputer operates on the basis of blockchain technology. According to the representatives of IBM, this tiny chip is built into household items to further verifying the origin and content of these items. The main functions of this technology are analysis, control, processing, and data exchange. With the help of this small computer on the blockchain, users will be able to monitor the shipment and delivery of goods, track thefts, and other effects on the cargo. At this stage, the first prototype of the computer is tested. According to the representatives of IBM, the tiny chip, which consists of several hundred thousand transistors power of x86, 1990, will cost less than 10 cents.
