Thirty-two cryptocurrency exchanges will be inspected by the Japanese Financial Services Agency. The Agency will examine in particular aspects related to risk management, cybersecurity and ensuring the safety of users’ funds. In September last year, the Agency licensed out for 11 local cryptocurrency exchanges. Among them: Money Partners, Quoine, Bitflyer, Bit Bank and SBI Virtual Currencies. After that, in December, Japanese trading platforms Tokyo Bitcoin Exchange, Bit Arg Exchange Tokyo, FTT Corporation, Xtheta Corporation, and Bitocean Corporation have received the license.
