Futures for bitcoin open a new era in the crypto currency history. Early in January, another online broker, E-Trade Financial has launched for clients the trade in bitcoin-futures on CME, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. At the moment investors are studying the difference between CME futures and the contracts of Cboe, the Chicago stock options exchange. The first company that first offered bitcoin futures was the brokerage company Cboe Global Markets. The Cboe and CME exchanges began offering bitcoin futures in mid-December, after a sharp rise in the price of the basic cryptocurrency. The company Interactive Brokers also opened futures trading. Now Bitcoin fans concern — how fixed-term exchange contracts of purchase and sale, at which the parties agree only on the price and the term, will influence the fate of cryptocurrency futures.
