The Hyperledger Consortium announced a large-scale implementation plan for the blockchain in various areas. This was reported by the executive director of the consortium Brian Behlendorf. He is confident that 2018 will be a triumphant year for the blockchain, as both business and government recognize the potential of distributed ledgers and smart contracts. One of the projects is Change Healthcare, which will allow healthcare systems to effectively process applications and payments. The projects also include personnel training in the field of the blockchain, compatibility of various blockchain systems, digital identification, transfer of business processes to the blockchain system, and others. The Hyperledger Consortium is founded by Linux Foundation in 2015 to support the joint development of distributed ledgers based on the blockchain.
